LA to San Jose Road Trip

Begin your road trip north from Los Angeles toward San Jose via the scenic Pacific Coast Highway.

Tip US-101 through the coast adds 30-45 min but is more scenic. I-5 through the Central Valley is faster. Avoid arriving in LA after 5 PM to miss rush hour — depart by 1:30 PM if possible.
